The former managing director of drug giant Eli Lilly and Company in Sweden continues to reveal the business practices of the pharmaceutical industry, scoring a major victory in announcing that his first book, Side Effects: Death. Confessions of a Pharma-Insider, will be turned into a full-length feature film. In fact, he appeared in a September 16, 2014 segment of “The Daily Show.”

John Virapen, who began his career with “Big Pharma” in 1968 as a salesman knocking on doctors’ doors, rose through the ranks to realize what he was pitching were not drugs, but death. Virapen was well aware early on that thousands had died or committed suicide by taking the drugs he was pushing. “I indirectly contributed to the death of . . . people, whose shadows now haunt me,” he explained in his book.

  1. Take no drugs. Nothing. One drug just leads to another drug and then to another drug and before you know it, you’re f*cked. If you’re crazy enough to even VISIT an allopathic physician in the United States (instead of, say, a genuine Chinese acupuncturist), don’t take any of their prescribed drugs. Just take the diagnosis and do your own research to discover the CAUSE of your condition (never mind covering up the symptoms, which is what the unintelligent, counter-intuitive allopaths do), and then you address the cause with, more often than not, LIFESTYLE changes in diet, exercise, or nutrition. Go onto YouTube, tune into Dr. John Bergman’s channel, and follow his advice to health.

The drug companies and allopathic doctors in this country collude to suck you into their ever-deepening dependency on drugs and doctor visits and you just keep getter farther and farther away from good health. Drugs are toxic, and they all have side effects—hence the slide onto the conveyor belt of endless meds.

  2. In 2000 I was prescribed Ambien, and since 2000 I started to experience horrible depression with strong suicidal thoughts. All my life was ruined—I was hospitalized many times, I was treated with all possible medications that gave me terrible side effects, but not a relief from my suffering. I even had Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) done, and since then I’ve been suffering from a loud noise in my head.

I lost my job, my relatives stopped communicating with me because I was obsessed with suicidal thought so much they couldn’t deal with me any more. I got on disability, lost all my friends, found myself living in poverty. I went through real hell.

In 2013 I stopped taking Ambien (just decided to get a rest from it), and all of the sudden I felt like myself again. No suicidal thoughts, feels like life came back to me. Now at 59, I am thinking how I can start my life all over after I lost everything. Left with a horrible noise after ECT, without a job, lost my license.

Not even one single doctor all those years suspected that Ambien was causing the symptoms. All they did was giving me more and more medications. Only one comfort for me was I found out what was wrong, otherwise I probably would have killed myself.

I hate the medical “industry” so much.
