U.S. Training Terrorists

• Deep roots of CIA’s recruitment and use of terrorists revealed.

By Ronald L. Ray —

A recently released, formerly secret Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) report and a new book have proven what AMERICAN FREE PRESS long has been telling its readers: the United States, particularly through “intelligence” agencies like the DIA and the notorious Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), is a state sponsor of terror. The U.S. recruits, provides visas to, trains and employs murderers and thugs in deliberate, decades-long efforts to destabilize and overthrow peaceful, sovereign governments throughout the world. This is not George Washington’s America.

Worse, as Annie Machon, the courageous whistleblower formerly of British MI5 intelligence, comments, the “American military-security complex . . . remain[s] indifferent to the sheer scale of human suffering that is unleashed as a result of such game-playing.”

Thanks to a lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch, we now have access to an August 12, 2012, Pentagon “Intelligence Information Report” (IIR), which, according to investigative reporter Nafeez Ahmed, “was circulated throughout the U.S. intelligence community, including to the State Department Central Command, the Department of Homeland Security, the CIA, [and] FBI [Federal Bureau of Investigation], among other agencies.” The seven-page report accurately describes the state of Middle East terror activities at the time and correctly “predicts” what would happen later.

This author believes rather that the document’s “spy-speak” (the Orwellian Newspeak of New World Order intelligence agencies) explicates the U.S. plan to “divide and rule” the Middle East.

Although not mentioned in the government report, the development and expansion of the Islamic State (ISIS), which the IIR describes and predicts well before the fact, is not just part of the Anglo-American effort to control Mideast oil, but the effort to create a politically fractured and unstable region intended to bring about the rise of Eretz Israel—“Greater Israel”—according to a long-established Zionist-neoconservative plan.

The roots of the constant wars and proxy wars prosecuted by the U.S. in the Middle East go back at least to the 1980s, and probably before, when American intelligence agencies, particularly the CIA, recruited numerous terrorists—including Osama bin Laden and what became al Qaeda—to fight as “mujahideen” against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. In fact, the Taliban in that country was also a creation of the U.S., intended to provide America control over the country’s resources—a plan that backfired and “necessitated” the creation of a war in Afghanistan against the Taliban.

Meanwhile, many of al-Qaeda’s operatives found later work destabilizing Bosnia on behalf of the Anglo-American war machine, with surprising ties to the blind sheikh alleged to have been responsible for the first bombing attack on the Twin Towers in New York City in 1993.

Not surprisingly, the evil Rand Corporation, an incestuous “defense” industry partner of the CIA, issued multiple reports in advance over the years about how the U.S. could capitalize on all of these conflicts. Nothing like guaranteeing more business for one’s company.

All this has been further confirmed in a new book by J. Michael Springmann, entitled Visas for Al Qaeda: CIA Handouts That Rocked the World. Springmann, a lawyer and former State Department foreign service officer turned whistleblower, who worked in U.S. consulates in Saudi Arabia, Germany and India, began telling his story after the events of September 11, 2001, and has now combined his experiences with further research to show how the U.S. has engaged repeatedly in the creation of terrorist networks and operations to achieve certain geopolitical ends—without regard to morality or the value of human life.

Surprisingly, Springmann refused to be interviewed by AFP, stating, “Have looked up AMERICAN FREE PRESS online and don’t like what I see or what reputable organizations [sic], such as SourceWatch say about it. I therefore decline to respond to your questions.”

It is too bad, because we believe Springmann has done some great work, which deserves to be widely known. Evidently, even some whistleblowers find this truth-telling newspaper too hot to touch.

Springmann lost his federal job because he tried to uphold the law and keep dangerous types out of America. But he was overruled repeatedly, because CIA operatives, who theoretically are only a third of the foreign service, actually comprised more than half of consular employees and improperly provided visas under false pretenses for their terrorist recruits to train on American soil.

Springmann follows the trail of these Islamic murderers from Afghanistan to the Balkans, through Iraq, Libya and Syria, to ISIS and the al-Nusra Front. He also names the names of the U.S. spooks and politicos responsible for the ensuing international brutality. In each case, the federal government and American media have lied to the citizenry and presented the latest favored “resistance” group as “moderate,” when in reality it was well known and intended that these Islamic organizations would be extremely violent and well-supplied with U.S. war materiel.

The U.S., far from being “that shining city on a hill,” is a purveyor of death and destruction on a global scale. Right, reason and morality require immediate elimination of the CIA and its cohorts. Tell the president and Congress to stop the bloodshed now.
