A PERSONAL NOTE . . .
FROM PETE PAPAHERAKLES
On Monday morning, I received a phone call that completely turned my world upside down. Nothing could have prepared me for it. The call was from Victor’s son, Josh, informing me that Victor had just committed suicide.
I felt like a truck had just run over me. Was this some kind of a practical joke? Was it a dream? Not Victor. Not in a million years. I had just spoken to him the day before, and he was as happy and cheerful as ever. I had packed a surprise present for him and he kept trying to get me to reveal what it was.
“You’ll find out soon enough,” I’d told him.
Just as I was leaving for the post office on Monday morning, the phone rang. Victor would never find out what the present was.
Josh informed me that I was the first person he called outside the immediate family. Per Victor’s post-mortem instructions he requested that I be the one to write his obituary article.
“What am I supposed to write?” I exclaimed in my grief and anger. “That he was an idiot for going off and killing himself?”
“My dad said you’ll know what to write,” Josh calmly explained.
Victor always did have more faith in me than I do, but I stepped up to the task and penned it with a heavy heart.
I want to personally give my condolences to Victor’s family for their loss—his parents, his son, his brother. I’m sure this has been devastating for them.
I want to start by reiterating that I still feel he was an idiot for killing himself. Not a day has passed since his death that I haven’t called him every name in the book for what he did. He was in the prime of his life and at the peak of his career. He was in perfect health, was happy, and had a great attitude about life. Why would he do such a stupid thing?
Victor caused great pain to his family, friends, and thousands of fans around the world. He was a huge part of AMERICAN FREE PRESS, and he will never be replaced.
On a personal level, Victor was my best friend. We spoke on the phone almost on a daily basis. I loved him like a brother.
His loss has ripped a hole in my heart.
Prominent Political Researcher Victor Thorn Commits Apparent Suicide Near Home
• Family spokesmen strongly deny he was a victim of Bill & Hillary Clinton
By Pete Papaherakles
On the morning of August 1, AMERICAN FREE PRESS received news that investigative reporter and prolific author Victor Thorn was dead. Victor always marched to his own beat. He lived life on his own terms and chose to die on his own terms. We might not agree with how he went about it, but Victor was never one to seek approval anyway.
Although raised as a Catholic, his understanding about spiritual matters was light years beyond any organized religion, having read hundreds of books on religion and philosophy. He even wrote many of his own books on these subjects. Victor was not terribly concerned about any moral judgment of his deed either by a god or by any religious moralists. He offered no apologies to anyone.
Victor will be remembered as one of the giants in the alternative media. In his own chapbook, Conspiracy Hall of Fame, Victor inducted about 20 top conspiracy writers of all time. The heavyweights listed included George Orwell, Jim Keith, and Michael Collins Piper. However, Victor needs to be inducted at the very top of the list with the best of them. Who else can boast of having written 60 books?
Since Victor’s death, many conspiracy theories have popped up across the Internet about Victor possibly having been murdered by the Clintons, because of his books exposing their crimes. Others have their own theories.
However, it is important to state the family remains adamant that there is no basis in truth to these charges.
The world may not know exactly why Victor took his own life, but some of us have a general idea. Victor had planned this for at least two years. His son, Josh, even knew the exact day it would happen. That day was on Victor’s 54th birthday. It had to be on that particular birthday, according to Victor’s way of looking at things. He even wrote a book about it, which Josh is now in the process of going over. Details about the book are unclear at this point, but it was Victor’s intention that the book be published eventually.
It seems Victor has managed to be even more provocative and controversial in death than he was in life. From a young age, Victor had determined that he would not grow old. In addition, the timing he chose had to do with his perceived destiny due to his birthday of 8-1-1962, which makes him a triple nine, 999, something he considered unique.
No one knew Victor better than his son and only child, Josh, who lived in the same house with him for the last 20 years.
Josh has read every single book his father wrote and had countless conversations with Victor on these topics.
The following statement was released by Josh. Here is what he had to say about his dad’s life, death, legacy, and character:
My dad was a truth-seeker. At his innermost core, he was an artist, a writer, a creator, and a philosopher. For him, his own destruction served as his greatest creative expression, the taking of his own life the ultimate expression of free will.
His purpose for writing, be it political or philosophical, was to knock down walls. What he wanted was for people to seek the truth without any boundaries or dogma, to strip away any kind of programming or conditioning put there by others, and to think about things for themselves.
My father viewed knowledge as the key to freedom. To him, the mind is an extremely powerful thing. If you put seeds in, they’ll grow. The key to Victor was, who’s putting in the seeds? Outside forces that seek to control and manipulate, or inner forces that seek self-knowledge and personal growth? That’s what his writing was about.
Ultimately, he was a rebel. He rebelled against the status quo, against the enemies of truth. His collective work stands as a monument to anyone who dares to peek behind the curtain, even if it means turning everything you think you know upside down.
He will be greatly missed.
Unlike most researchers who specialize in issues within a certain niche, Victor was multi-dimensional in his writing, equally proficient in exposing the 9-11 deception, the Clinton crimes, and the Obama lies as he was in explaining quantum physics and parallel universes. The breadth of his knowledge and understanding, his thirst for the truth, and his enthusiasm for exposing lies and deception were boundless.
Victor’s brother, Bill, in an interview with AFP two days after Victor’s death gave much insight into Victor’s life. He noted that when Victor was in school he had scored in the top 1% in the state of Pennsylvania, a fact that Victor never mentioned.
Based on AFP’s work with Victor over the years, it was clear Victor was at the genius level. He was also extremely well read. His books and articles are a testament to this fact.
Victor had the unique talent of “putting the hay where the goats can get to it,” an expression often used by another good friend and AFP writer who left us too soon, the late, great Jim Traficant. Victor could take any subject, no matter how complex, study it in record time, and present it to his readers in a comprehensible, exciting, easy-to-understand manner.
Victor’s legacy is the enormous body of work he left us. In the 60-some books he penned, he explores in depth a tremendous array of subjects ranging from basic NWO conspiracies to the very nature of reality itself. His expose on the Holocaust fraud is one of the best books on the subject. However, he also wrote many books on art, cinema, entertainment, and music.
Emigrate While You Still Can! Learn More . . .
But, most of all, Victor loved America. He loved baseball, hot dogs, the American flag, rock-and-roll, and small-town America, and he adored his dog, Midas.
The basic drive behind his writing was to expose the hidden forces at work destroying the America he knew and loved. In this, he was exactly like legends Willis Carto, Traficant, and Piper, whose combined losses recently have been hard for AFP. And, yet, this newspaper continues to carry on their legacy nonetheless.
Like these other great men, Victor was a legend, and, like them, he will live on forever through the extensive number of books he left behind.
Victor’s books will forever haunt the New World Order. Largely due to Victor’s brilliant research, Hillary Clinton has not been able to conceal her crimes. Through Victor’s tireless work, Donald Trump just might be the next president, and, if so, Victor will have succeeded in saving the America he so much loved.
Farewell, Victor. You will always be remembered.

I was stunned hearing about Victor Thorn’s death. What a terrible loss. I had read some of his books & thought he was outstanding. I do not believe for one minute that he took his own life. God bless you Vic.
Victor was suicided.
Why did NOT Josh his son even mention suicide notes in the day after radio interview when he spent the entire interview trying to convince us it was suicide? A week later recorded phone interview with police THEN reveals suicide notes as reason there would be NO murder investigation. Family threatenrd/coerced?
Sounds a lot like Vince Foster – initial briefcase search WITH WITNESSES: No Suicide Note… days later they magically found multiple suicide notes in the same briefcase that was found empty.
Scalia SCOTUS was supposedly suicide too, no autopsy even, yet now Wiki Leaks reveals Dems were discussing his replacement days before they SUICIDED him.
You loved your friend? FIND THE TRUTH
@ Ton Hettema If you believe Victor was murdered, then you surely are a member of The Conspiracy Flavor of the Month Association.Victor’s 50 books or so are excellent but only popular among the truth movement over all a small group within society. His books were obviously not promoted or sold in the mainstream book stores and they didn’t make any of their best seller lists.Victor in his books and radio programs also warned people not to vote for Obama. He won both elections.Obviously his message didn’t reach a large enough audience. The Clintons never considered him a threat to Hillary winning this years presidency. They had no motive to kill him, case closed.
Now why, dear Pete, would you try so hard to convince us that your dearest and closest friend Victor would have shot himself? Totally unexpectedly and fully out of character? You are a poor and cowardly friend indeed to abandon Victors life, his work and to defame his character in the way that you do. It is clear to me that he had no real friend in you, just a parrot, repeating fairy tales of a scared son and an embarassed family. SHAME ON YOU! for not caring to find out what really happened. But MORE SHAME ON YOU for covering up and discouraging a real investigation, and for defaming his name as a brave and unrelenting debunker of fairy tales like the one that is your obituary!
To Martin: If one wants to commit suicide by shooting themselves in the head, they can do it in the front, side, back of the head or in the mouth.Your wrong on that account.Your right about the powder reidue being on one of the hands of the person. Anne Neilson posted a link on why it was suicide,in this very same comment section.I suggest you check it out.
@ Dennis
If the autopsy reveals that the bullet entered the back of Victor’s head, then that means murder.
If the autopsy reveals that the bullet entered the front of Victor’s head and there is no powder residue on either hand, then that means murder.
If the autopsy reveals that the bullet entered the front of Victor’s head and there is powder residue on one hand, then that means suicide, and it would put to rest the speculations that Victor was murdered.
That’s why the autopsy matters.
MARTIN: YOU WANT TO SEE A FRIGGIN AUTOPSY.GET REAL!ALL THAT IS GOING TO SHOW IS THAT HE DIED OF A GUN SHOT WOUND TO THE HEAD.NO PROOF WHETHER IT’S MURDER OR A SUICIDE.
Suicide:

Guy Rocky: Victor did write a note.Do your research.
I THINK he would love to have seen how the elections turned out. I am sure if Hillary gets in there will be many suicides, but to leave in such an ambiguous way without a note or a goodbye message seems very strange. It also makes the “truth” movement look very unstable
@ pete
Your comment reminds me of those who accuse Holocaust revisionists of “defaming the dead” or who denigrate 9/11 Truthers for causing pain to the friends and the families of those who perished on 9/11.
I want to see the friggin’ autopsy, and that does not make me either a “conspiracy theorist” or a ghoul.
To Londa: Victor wasn’t murdered by the Clintons. He was never considered a threat to Hillary winning this years election.Even though his books contained great information on what scumbags the Clintons are, the books never made any best seller list. The mainstream establishment selects the books that make the best sellers lists. Can you imagine any of Victor’s books making the New York Times best sellers list.No chance! If none of Victor’s books get into the hands of the general public then there is little chance of Hillary losing the election from the writings of Victor Thorn.Let’s now take a look at the 2008 and 2012 elections.Victor was writing books on Obama being unfit for being president way before the 2008 election. As we all know Obama won that election.Vic continued to bash Obama in his books during Obama’s first term and he warned people not to re-elect him.End result Obama wins a second term in 2012.Again we see that it’s one thing to write scores of books on a topic but it’s another thing to get those books and the information they contain to the general public. Conclusion, the Clintons never considered Victor’s books a threat to Hillary winning this years presidency. Therefore the Clintons had no motive to kill Victor.
It’s unfortunate that so many people cannot distinguish between conspiracy theory and conspiracy fact. I suppose they feel superior to the “gullible masses” for not believing anything they are told. But facts have the advantage of being based in reality whereas theories are often only possible in someone’s imagination supported by nothing more than a hunch. To insist on these unfounded hunches without any actual proof makes one a fool. It is also annoying to those of us who actually do research and apply critical thinking as a means of getting to the truth. Not to mention that all these half-baked conspiracy theories are insulting and rude to Victor’s family who are essentially being called liars by these wannabe sleuths.
An autopsy is a public record.
Does anyone live within driving distance of State College, PA?
If so, then why not drive over there, track down which city or county agency maintains records and get a copy of the autopsy?
It would be a start.
If a public figure, of his stature, had met with a violent death, Victor wouldn’t have just speculated; he would have investigated.
Will someone please follow his example?
If the above is true, it only adds credence to the opinion that the clintons had him whacked ; no person with those qualities would commit suicide.
Did Victor tell Joshua face to face about his plan to commit suicide, or was it in the form of a “suicide note” which can be easily faked by a Bond Script machine?
Don’t you guys read or at least believe part of the articles that you publish? If so, why don’t you use or at least advise your staff to use basic EMF protection. I’ll spell it out for you; repeated exposure to EMF leads to things like major depression. And as you may not have heard, major depression is a contributing factor to depression.
Victor’s web site WingTV.Net is down, but we have a backup of his 400+ broadcasts at http://www.ANETA.org/members/Victor There are 4 odd things: 1) Why no good bye voice recording or selfie video? Hand written suicide notes can be faked for $2.99/page by machines such as http://www.Bond.co 2) Why is his web site down? Who benefits? 3) Why would Victor drive his car from his house .5 miles to the Mt. Nittany blue trail, when he walked many miles a day early in the morning. Why were the keys left in the car? This supports the hypothesis that hit men used the car to transport his knocked out body, then carried it up the hill top to put the gun in his hand and shoot. 4) Why didn’t Joshua call the family or 911 if a suicide was imminent? Perhaps he and his family is under threat by the assassins?
Victor was murdered by the Clinton Mafia. He did not commit suicide!!!! He was getting way too close to the truth about Hillbilly and she had him eliminated. Why can’t you accept this as the truth? They have a really bad habit of offing those who out them…….
Right he planned his death. So he was a pure wack job or it was a wack job and the family is too scared to say it! I would be. Lie tell it all goes away.
