FBI Head Says No Charges Will Be Filed Against Hillary Clinton in Email Scandal

• Let’s be honest here. Was anyone really surprised that Hillary Clinton, the presumed presidential candidate for the Democrats, is getting off scot-free with no charges filed against her and not even a slap on the wrist?

On Tuesday, July 5, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey, Jr. told reporters during a press conference that the FBI will not recommend that criminal charges be brought against Hillary Clinton in regard to her mishandling of classified information and her private email server.

While Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton had kept a private email server to handle her government as well as her private emails. Reports of this generated legitimate concerns about what kinds of emails Mrs. Clinton was sending and why she would refuse to use the government’s secure email system.

Under intense pressure, Mrs. Clinton eventually turned over what was on the server, including emails that did in fact contain classified information, but not before as many as 30,000 emails, or half of the total emails on the server, had been lost or erased.

Following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, which was fraught with accusations that Mrs. Clinton was doing all she could to obfuscate and conceal what she had done, the FBI eventually reached the conclusion that Mrs. Clinton and her staff were incompetent but not criminally liable.

Now, critics of Mrs. Clinton are left wondering why other officials, including former heads of the Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus and John Deutch, have been prosecuted, sanctioned, and kicked out of the government for mishandling classified documents, but Mrs. Clinton gets to walk away from this probe unscathed.

Some pundits even contend that this is yet another example of the Clintons being above the law and never having to face justice for their direct involvement in multiple scandals.

It’s called the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They only pursue crime “against” the federal government not crime “by” the federal government.

That ‘finding’ is well past RIDICULOUS! Even Barney Fife could have done a much better job! Given these results, I would think that many of their case should be re-reviewed. I am 73 years old and have been following OUR government since my years in high school. My Dad furnished his copy of The Spotlight newspaper, that the AFP was publishing at that time. Some might remember that they were so ‘right on’ with their reporting that OUR government set them up and shut them down . . . for a while. Thank God that they were able to resurface and continue on with their great information supply line. Thanks guys and may God richly bless you all!
