In the wake of the stinging defeat over the three-year saga of the Motel Caswell civil forfeiture case by the United States Department of Justice, under the direction of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, Carmen M. Ortiz, the man at the center of the case, Russ Caswell, is not just taking his victory lying down.
Russ recently testified on Capitol Hill at a Legislative Briefing on the Need to Reform Federal Civil Forfeiture, and discusses this in this interview (19:16).
