NATO War Crimes In Libya

Rep. Cynthia Mckinney

By Dave Gahary

In June, former Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) conducted a fact-finding mission in Libya. While attending a conference in the sovereign North African nation, she discovered that the mainstream media had concocted bald-faced lies about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) activities during the illegal opening of hostilities.

During an exclusive interview with AMERICAN FREE PRESS on July 26, Ms. McKinney received an electronic message from a Russian colleague saying that NATO air strikes had targeted Libya’s Great Manmade River Project (GMRP). This water source is the world’s largest irrigation system—described as the eighth wonder of the world by Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi—and delivers over 1.7 billion gallons of fresh water daily to about 70% of the country’s citizens.
