10,000 Strong 'Tea Party' Planned for Texas Local Tea Parties Spread Across the Country
By Mark Anderson
San Antonio Toll Party (SATP) founder Terri Hall, a leading activist
against the Trans-Texas Corridor and the tolling of Texas
freeways, is planning to lead a 10,000-strong San Antonio “Tea Party” on April 15. This
largest-known "Tea Party," among many taking place across the country
on April 15 against oppressive government, also includes Michigan rock legend Ted Nugent, who is to address
the crowd along with Ms. Hall in front of the legendary Alamo downtown.
National TV commentator Glenn Beck was to do his show in front
of the Alamo from 4-5 p.m. local time on April
15 just before the rally, which was to set run at least until 8 p.m.
Live remote radio broadcasts also [will] spread the word in San Antonio, where Ms.
Hall’s organization, Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom, as well as the
SATP, meets and plans its strategies to keep freeways free and keep the TTC
portion of the NAFTA Superhighway from ever becoming a reality.
