Well-Financed Hate Group Frets Patriot Ranks Are Growing
By James P. Tucker Jr.
More than 1 million Americans have joined the ranks of self-described patriots in recent months, according to estimates based on a study released Aug. 12 by an organization of left-wing extremists known as the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), whose main mission for decades has been the destruction of many good pro-America organizations like Liberty Lobby and its newspaper, The Spotlight. Now one of its main targets is AMERICAN FREE PRESS, lineal descendant of The Spotlight.
SPLC provided an advance copy to its public relations agency, Associated Press. AP cited 300,000 Americans who identify themselves “sovereign citizens”—not “citizens of the world,” as President Obama and other Bilderberg-owned officials proclaim.
Of the 300,000 “sovereign citizens,” AP smears them all by finding six people who claim no government exists above the county level—no states or nations. But if you examine 300,000 dry-Baptist preachers, you will find at least six drunks. Check out 300,000 Pentecostal preachers and you will find at least six having relations with altos in the choir. And patriots are “haters,” too.
Reports AP: “Hate group monitors say their numbers have increased thanks to the recession, the foreclosure crisis, the growth of the Internet and the election of Barack Obama in 2008.”

This is intended to feed the fantasy that patriots voted against Obama only because he is half black.
Obama is a self-proclaimed socialist who, for all of his adult life, is close friends with bomb-throwing terrorists who proclaim their hatred for the United States.
“Experts say sovereign citizens are the latest manifestation of anti-government activists going back to the days of the Posse Comitatus movement of the 1970s,”AP reports. In fact, the Posse Comitatus movement dates back to George Washington and other founders, none of whom would recognize today’s America.
The SPLC cited IRS estimates that 250,000 protested income taxes in recent years. AP was unable to understand that this is a compliment, not a criticism. The federal income tax amendment was never properly ratified, according to constitutional scholars. And, if foreign aid and federal programs that are unconstitutional under the 10th Amendment’s restrictive clause were eliminated, America would prosper and be debt-free, economists advise.
