Flying Saucers and the NASA Space Program

U.S. testing “UFO” technology for possible mission to Mars.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced that it will attempt to launch a flying saucer into the Earth’s stratosphere to test new technology for a mission to Mars. The launch site is on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where NASA has been working with the United States Navy to get what is referred to as an experimental flight off the ground.

Associated Press (AP) reports that there is a narrow two-week window in late June to early July during which this has to be done because “winds must be calm for a helium balloon to carry the disk-shaped vehicle over the Pacific so it doesn’t stray into no-fly zones.”

NASA has identified five potential launch dates for the high-altitude balloon carrying the LDSD [Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator] experiment: June 28, 29, 30, July 1 and 3. The launch window for Saturday, June 28 extends from 8:15–9:30 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time (2:15-3:30 p.m. EDT),” declared a June 24, 2014 media advisory on NASA’s website.

The test flight took place on June 28.

It is unclear to what degree the saucer’s flying capabilities will be tested but the stated plan is eventually to land heavier payloads on Mars and ultimately astronauts.

There are many who claim, however, that NASA is much further ahead in flying saucer technology than they want the public to know.

In his new bestselling book NEED to KNOW: UFOs, the Military and Intelligence, Timothy Good, one of the world’s top experts on unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, says that it is an indisputable fact the U.S. defense establishment has had access to flying saucer technology since at least 1945, when an alien spacecraft was recovered. In fact, Good claims that several flying disks were shot down by the U.S. military in the late 1940s.

“Millions of sightings have been reported throughout the world,” said Good. “That up to 90 to 95% of all these reports can probably be explained in conventional terms is also not in dispute. But that still leaves tens of thousands of unexplained cases, including the many thousands reported by military and civilian pilots, Army and Navy officers, astronauts and astronomers, whose testimony is often supported by radar, sonar and sometimes by film and photographs.”

It seems certain that flying saucers have been documented in thousands of cases since 1945. A big question is whether they are of extraterrestrial origin or of earthly design. Many claim that flying saucers have actually been produced by the Germans since the early 1940s. The scientists and the technology were brought to the U.S. via “Operation Paperclip,” they say, working in secret bases such as Area 51 in Nevada. But incidents like the spaceship crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 indicate that alien-designed flying saucers were later reverse-engineered by scientists on Earth.

Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Theodore Hellyer is the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 countries to speak publicly about the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrials (ETs).

Hellyer has stated unequivocally: “UFOs are as real as the airplanes flying overhead.” He believes that not only have extraterrestrials visited Earth but many live on Earth, even among us.

There are many races, Hellyer said. “I would say that nearly all are benign and benevolent and they do want to help us. There may be one or two species which do not.”

Hellyer said there has been a lot more activity with aliens in the last few decades since we invented the atomic bomb. “They are very much afraid that we might be stupid enough to start using atomic weapons again,” he said.

“It’s time the U.S. government started coming clean on what it’s all about,” said Hellyer, “because there are very important military and economic issues that have to be addressed and you can’t address them unless you acknowledge they [ETs] exist.”

Hellyer attributes the recent spike in technology such as microchips and fiber optics to extraterrestrials and believes they have even helped us develop exotic fuels such as zero-point energy (or energy created out of a vacuum) and cold fusion, which can completely transform our world within a decade. “The public is ready to accept the truth about ETs,” he feels, “as long as it’s revealed to them incrementally.” He thinks the huge profits made by the oil industry do not allow disclosure of this clean free energy.

Other public figures who have stated UFOs exist of extraterrestrial origin include former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Professor Stephen Hawking, former President Ronald Reagan and former U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater.
