Fire of Freedom Ignites in Europe

 • Increasing numbers of vibrant, Old World nationalist groups continue independence struggle

By Ronald L. Ray

Since the worldwide financial crisis of 2008, caused by avaricious investment and banking houses, longstanding ethnic tensions in several European countries have been exacerbated by the ongoing financial problems. As a result, separatist movements from the Balkans to the British Isles have been gaining ground among the people, much to the chagrin of the Bilderbergers and other one-world-government types. Apparently, historical heritage and culture cannot be completely bulldozed by the bureaucrats. Interestingly, while the methods for seeking independence vary, nearly all of the separatist regions enjoy a greater degree of prosperity than the ruling countries—a key aspect of the conflicts.

For instance, the small island of Corsica in the Mediterranean, birthplace of Napoleon, has been ruled by France for more than two centuries. The popular tourist destination received a limited amount of autonomy in 1982, and in a 2003 referendum, just 50.98% of Corsicans voted against greater self-rule. For 50 years, however, the urge for independence has been growing. In the 2010 regional elections, nationalists made their best showing ever, with autonomists and separatists combined achieving nearly 35% of the vote.

Until now, the French government seems to have followed a policy of appeasement, but it is not enough for some. The National Liberation Front of Corsica (FLNC) has engaged in terrorist activity for over 30 years, including tragic attacks on the French mainland and bombings of island vacation and summer homes.

Hard Assets Alliance

In Belgium, artificially created in the 19th century out of parts of the Netherlands and France, the majority of Dutch-speaking Flemings are increasingly dissatisfied with having to subsidize the poorer, French-speaking Walloons. This is nothing new, as troubles have been ongoing for half of the country’s history.

But after more than 18 months without a federal government, Flemish nationalists achieved a stunning victory in October 2012. Currently, according to a recent poll, more support a confederation than separatism but the recently-abdicated King Albert may have stirred additional dissension by publicly chastising “populists” last December, comparing nationalists as reminiscent of 1930s fascists. Pundits predict that the 2014 elections could be decisive for the future.

Spain possesses the distinction of not just one but two independence-minded minority groups: the Catalonians and the Basques. Catalonia, which enjoyed a great degree of autonomy under the Habsburgs, was forcibly annexed by King Philip V of Spain in 1714. But the people retain their own language and culture and are markedly more prosperous than the majority of Spain.

As elsewhere, the disproportionate taxation of the region by Spain’s national government is a significant sore point. This year, hundreds of thousands of Catalonians formed a “via catalana,” a human chain some 250 miles long, to protest for freedom on their national day in September. In 2012, 1.5 million of the 7.5 million inhabitants demonstrated for independence. So far, though, the socialist government in Madrid has been unresponsive.

Meanwhile, in the Spanish Basque region the ETA terrorist organization gave up its weapons after 50 years, in 2011. Since then, peaceful efforts by the people, who also have a unique language and culture—and claim to be survivors of Atlantis—continue on the political front. But by contrast, primary emphasis is given to overcoming Spain’s financial crisis first. The French Basques have yet to achieve even their own, united political region.

More remotely, the semi-autonomous island of Greenland seeks independence from Denmark, but development of its rich ore mining and crude oil potential is necessary first to eliminate the need for Danish subsidies. China has become a key trading partner in this regard.

South Tyrolia, forcibly incorporated into Italy after World War I, is perhaps the leading light of separatism. The people still consider themselves to be Austrian, retaining the German language, customs and drive, despite decades of efforts by the Italians to wipe out that culture. Just as people in the regions mentioned above, Tyrolians resent increasing taxation by Rome, which serves only to subsidize the less industrious Italians. While a modus vivendi, or temporary agreement, continues to exist, most of the people possess a strong desire for reunification with North Tyrolia, a focus that exerts major influence on the political climate.

Finally, there is Scotland. Here again, the enterprising Scots seek freedom from economic exploitation by the Anglo-Normans to the south. While the plurality still favor the United Kingdom, a growing number seeks complete independence from the rest of Great Britain. The Scottish National Party obtained an absolute majority in the restored Scottish Parliament two years ago, and a national referendum on independence is to be held on September 18, 2014.

It is uncertain whether the British monarch would continue to reign over a free Scotland, but republicans seem presently to have the upper hand.

One note of concern, however, is that of voices who would seek entry into the European Union after independence. In fact, this may be the new tack by the New World Order to ensure that even the newly independent remain under international bankster hegemony.

Pathological Altruism: White Man’s Burden?

• Professor Kevin MacDonald expounds upon “pathological altruism”

By Pete Papaherakles

Most Americans are familiar with the phrase: The road to hell is paved with good intentions. On October 24, a respected psychology professor from California State University explained the science behind this growing phenomenon at a talk at The Occidental Quarterly (OQ) dinner in Washington, D.C.

Kevin MacDonald, who is also the editor of OQ and writes for its news website The Occidental Observer, calls it “pathological altruism” (PA), a relatively new concept first mentioned in scientific journals in 1984. It has not received much attention, however, until a book by that name, edited by Barbara Oakley, was published in December 2011 by Oxford University Press. The book is reviewed and the subject thoroughly explored in the 2013 summer and fall issues of OQ, a conservative quarterly magazine on man, culture and politics from a Western perspective.

Ms. Oakley defines PA in this way: “Pathological altruism can be conceived as behavior in which attempts to promote the welfare of another, or others, results instead in harm that an external observer would conclude was reasonably foreseeable.”

When properly understood, PA is a scientific explanation about why people do stupid things in the false belief that they are helping others when they are only hurting themselves in the process.

The beauty of this new discovery is that it documents the evolutionary, biological and psychological causes of this disorder, which adds much needed credibility to what we all know to be a severe lack of common sense.

Dr. MacDonald and OQ have correctly characterized the disorder as what has always been referred to as “bleeding heart liberalism,” the “cult of victimhood” or plain old “white guilt tripping.”

Whites have spent trillions of dollars over the last half- century “helping” blacks here and in Africa while in both cases most blacks are no better off than they were—some say they’re worse off—and many blacks hate whites more than ever. The same can be applied to every victim cause that liberals have advocated, whether it’s illegal immigration, drug addiction or any other group portrayed as entitled to some type of special treatment.

Is Germany the Ultimate ‘Rogue Nation’?

New book decisively counters the myth of “German villainy”

By Michael Collins Piper

Benton L. Bradberry’s The Myth of German Villainy is a book about which this reviewer can absolutely say, “I wish I’d written it myself.” The other thing that can be said with certainty about The Myth of German Villainy is this: Every American patriot needs to read this book, particularly those who have—quite unsurprisingly—bought into a lot of the nonsense about 20th century history pawned off by the controlled media and bought-and-paid-for historians shilling for the New World Order elite. Much of their nonsense has managed to find its way even into the “alternative” media (particularly on the Internet) today.

A United States naval officer and aviator for 22 years with a degree in political science and international relations from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, Bradberry has given readers a fast-moving, fascinating and well-written 440-page masterwork that accomplishes what few books can do. It deconstructs a complex and wide-ranging array of historical data (covering a broad expanse of time) and makes it accessible and interesting. More importantly, it explodes the lies and propaganda about the subject matter that has predominated in the mass media for what has now been several generations.

Scholarly—but nonetheless straightforward and easy to read—this is a comfortable book about many uncomfortable topics, precisely because it constitutes a comprehensive, head-on correction of the multiple historical distortions and outright lies that have accompanied standard “mainstream” and now even “alternative” writings on this subject.

And before more sensitive readers get too excited and sidetracked, let it be said right up front that The Myth of German Villainy is not a book about “the Holocaust” and whether it did—or didn’t—happen as New World Order-sponsored history books claim. Instead, this book focuses on the often-forgotten bigger picture: the perennial mischaracterization of Germany as the 20th century’s most audacious warmonger, an aggressive, armed colossus bent on conquest of Europe, if not the world itself.

While everyone today “knows”—having been told so repeatedly—that Germany under Adolf Hitler was the big, bad bully who started World War II, few remember (if they ever knew it in the first place) that the same people who decided Germany was guilty of causing the Second World War had also declared that Germany was responsible for provoking the First World War.

However, in The Myth of German Villainy, the author skillfully dissects a remarkable and complex conglomeration of diplomatic intrigue and global power politics at its highest and lowest order. He demonstrates, beyond any question, that Germany was the real victim of both World War I and World War II. Rather than being the instigator of war, Germany was instead the target of British aggression, precisely because the “new Germany” that arose under Hitler stood in direct challenge to the aims of imperial Britain, which had for all intents and purposes emerged as the global arm of the would-be world empire of the Rothschild banking family based in the City of London.

It’s all about money. And if you follow the money, it will take you right back to the international intrigues of the Rothschilds and their propagandists in the controlled media who have done so much to stilt the truths about history that Bradberry bends back into reality.

Among other things, the author accurately summarizes life in Germany under Hitler—the truth about which is far from the average depiction of a Gestapo-run tyranny, a popular (and quite mythical) image unfortunately perpetuated in a lot of “patriot” publications today.

Bradberry also delves into the ugly history of communism and how that failed system—at its pinnacle—was responsible for so much war and bloodshed that set the stage for Germany’s front-line challenge to this rampaging force that posed a direct challenge to the very survival of Western Christian Civilization.

There is much more that could be said about this wonderful book, but let this final point be noted: As an honest, objective primer on the long-hidden realities of 20th-century history as it relates to the events of both world wars—and their aftermath—you will search far and wide to find anything that does such a fine job in bringing history into accord with the facts.

The New Axis of Evil: Saudi Arabia and Israel

• Despite religious differences, two Mideast states work hand-in-glove

By Richard Walker

To the rest of the world they are strange bedfellows, but Saudi Arabia and Israel have a shared agenda to shape the Middle East to their liking even if it means using violence and terrorism to bring the region to the brink of war.

Prominent among those who have forged a strong military and intelligence partnership are Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a man who never met an Arab dictator he could not do business with if it suited his policies, and Saudi King Abdullah, whose name in Arabic means “Servant of the House of God.”

Abdullah has used the title to manipulate the Arab world, suggesting to Sunni Muslims he has a direct line to the Prophet Mohammed because he is the anointed guardian of Islam’s holiest sites, Mecca and Medina. Abdullah’s right-hand man in his dealings with the Israel has been Prince Bandar, sometimes known as “Bandar Bush” because of his close links to the Bush family during his days as Saudi Ambassador in Washington. Some commentators have referred to him as “Prince of Terrorists.” He is a flamboyant, cigar- smoking figure, with a fondness for lavish parties.

Like Netanyahu, Abdullah has denounced the Obama administration for failing to bomb Syria and for negotiating with Iran. Netanyahu and the King would like Iran bombed into oblivion. Abdullah said as much in conversation reported by Wikileaks. His advice to Obama was to “cut off the head of the snake.”

The intense anger toward Iran reflects how both nations see the Middle East. They want it dominated by Arab dictators, who can control the Sunni faithful through petrol dollars and the Saudi royal’s role as “Servants of the House of God.” with their promotion and financing of Wahabism, an extreme form of Islam.  Abdullah and his royal hangers-on are prepared to eliminate their enemies by whatever means necessary, beginning with Syria.

Netanyahu, too, wants Iran bombed back to the Stone Age. He has backed the neocon principle that removing Assad will break a Shiite Muslim arc stretching from Iran, across Iraq into Syria and Lebanon. One of his dreams is to give the Israeli military another crack at Hezbollah. He and Abdullah have pressed Washington to abandon diplomatic talks with Iran and to provide the Syrian rebels with air cover and heavy weapons. Those rebels have a very large contingent of terrorists in their ranks, many of them al-Qaeda members of Saudi origin.

When the Arab Spring began, Netanyahu and Abdullah feared they saw the writing on the wall when Obama refused to lift a hand to prevent the overthrow of the Egyptian dictator, Hosni Mubarak, an Israeli-Saudi favorite. Ironically, the mainstream media has been always been happy to call Assad a dictator but has never referred to Arab leaders as dictators even though they all are.

Since Bandar became head of the Saudi’s intelligence network in July 2012, he has forged closer links with Israel’s Mossad and has advocated using “cut-outs,” namely former and retired Mossad operatives, who would have deniability even if they were caught red-handed conducting terror operations inside Iran, Syria or Lebanon.

Israel has had no qualms about assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists and some commentators have suggested Bandar supplied Syrian rebels with Sarin gas. Either way, both partners in this alliance will use any measures, including deception, to achieve their goals, hoping it will lead to the United States to change its Syria policy and go to war with Iran.

One of the curious aspects of the new axis is Saudi Arabia’s military capabilities. Israel is acutely aware of the threat it would face should the Saudi leaders become victims of the Arab Spring. The Saudis have also weighed that risk and placed their future in the hands of Israel. The pro-Israel U.S. website, “Jewish Virtual Library,” put it best when it warned Israel could not ignore the risk of an anti-Western regime replacing the Saudi dictatorship.

Saudi Arabia Funds Violence; Seeks to Destroy Iran, Syria

• Russia’s Putin stands by allies; rejects Saudi deals—and intrigues

By Pete Papaherakles

Saudi Arabia’s Prince Bandar bin Sultan is still sulking about the United States not attacking Syria. He and Saudi Arabia’s ruling family are threatening that the kingdom will make a “major shift” in relations with the United States. He has complained to European diplomats that the U.S. had failed to act effectively against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and has been growing closer to Tehran.

Bandar is very influential in world politics. The Washington Post’s David Ottaway, who knew him well and interviewed him often, says that no Arab ambassador—perhaps no ambassador—has come close to matching Bandar’s influence in the American capital. As the Saudi king’s personal envoy and then for more than 20 years his nation’s ambassador to Washington, D.C., Bandar, by Ottaway’s estimation, dealt with “five U.S. presidents, 10 secretaries of state, 11 national security advisers, 16 sessions of Congress, an obstreperous American media and hundreds of greedy politicians.”

After becoming secretary general of the National Security Council in 2005, he was appointed director general of the Saudi Intelligence Agency by King Abdullah in July of 2012.

Since then, Bandar’s main objective has been to take down Assad’s government in Syria by any means necessary. He has been the ringleader in the campaign to escalate that war and the main conduit for guns and mercenaries into Syria.

Bandar was allegedly pressuring Russia to give up its support for Assad by secretly offering Russia a sweeping deal to control the global oil market and safeguard Russia’s gas contracts, while at the same time making veiled threats.

According to the reputable “Al Monitor” news website, Bandar told Putin during a four-hour meeting in Putin’s dacha in early August: “I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics next year. . . . The Chechen groups that threaten the security of the games are controlled by us.”

Unmoved by the Saudi offer, Mr. Putin reportedly replied that: “Our stance on Assad will never change. We believe that the Syrian regime is the best speaker on behalf of the Syrian people, and not those liver eaters,” Putin added, referring to footage showing a terrorist rebel eating the heart and liver of a Syrian soldier. Bandar in turn warned that there can be “no escape from the military option” if Russia declines the olive branch.

It was shortly after that, on August 23, that the chemical weapon attacks on Ghouta took place. Only Putin’s negotiated peace deal prevented the incident from escalating into a full-blown war.

There have been claims that Bandar was behind providing the sarin gas to the terrorist-rebels for that attack in his desperation to drag the U.S. into the civil war and topple Assad.

Although the U.S. had to finally accept that a diplomatic approach needs to be taken in terms of Syria and Iran, Bandar wants to remain on the war path and refuses to attend the upcoming Geneva II conference. He said he “plans to scale back on cooperating with the U.S. in arming Syrian rebels.”

The U.S. and the House of Saud have had close relations since the kingdom was established in 1932. The deal was predicated on Saudi Arabia guaranteeing Washington its oil supplies in return for military protection. This arrangement has become even more entrenched since then as Saudi petrodollars shore up the U.S. Treasury and the supremacy of the American dollar as the world’s trading currency. This allows the U.S. Federal Reserve to keep printing more and more money backed by nothing.

Reset in U.S.-Saudi Relations Welcomed by Many

• Maybe Saudi Arabia can afford global perpetual war, but it’s bankrupting the United States

By former Representative Ron Paul

Last week it was reported that Saudi Arabia decided to make a “major shift” away from its 80 years of close cooperation with the United States. The Saudi leadership is angry that the Obama administration did not attack Syria last month, and that it has not delivered heavy weapons to the Syrian rebels fighting to overthrow the Assad government. Saudi Arabia is heavily invested in the overthrow of the Assad government in Syria, sending money and weapons to the rebels.

However, it was the recent diplomatic opening between the U.S. and Iran that most infuriated the Saudis. Saudi Arabia is strongly opposed to the Iranian government and has vigorously lobbied the U.S. Congress to maintain sanctions and other pressure on Iran. Like Israel, the Saudis are fearful of any U.S. diplomacy with Iran.

This additional strain in U.S./Saudi relations came at the 40-year anniversary of the Arab oil embargo of the U.S. over its support of Israel in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. At the time, the embargo caused quite a bit of trouble for Americans, including gas shortages and long lines at the filling stations. A repeat of this move, however, would not have the same effect on the U.S. economy. Though it would not be desired, these are not the 1970s and oil is now a more fungible commodity no longer solely in Arab hands.

Why does Saudi Arabia insist that the U.S. fight its battles? The Saudis are strongly opposed to the governments in Syria and Iran so they expect the U.S. to attack. It is their neighborhood; why don’t they fight their own wars? Israel shares the same position in the region as Saudi Arabia: It has been fighting to overthrow Assad in Syria for years, and Israeli leadership constantly pushes the U.S. toward war on Iran. They are both working on the same side of these issues but why do they keep trying to draw us in?

We have unwritten agreements to defend Saudi Arabia and Israel, which keeps us heavily involved militarily in the Middle East. But when the U.S. becomes so involved, we are the real losers—especially the American taxpayers, who are forced to finance this global military empire. Plus, our security guarantee to Saudi Arabia and Israel creates a kind of moral hazard: There is little incentive for these two countries to push for more peaceful solutions in the region because the U.S. military underwrites their reckless behavior. It is an unhealthy relationship that should come to an end.

If Saudi Arabia and Israel are so determined to extend their influence in the region and share such similar goals, why don’t they work together to stabilize the region without calling on the U.S. for backup? It might be healthy for them to go it alone.

One of Osama bin Laden’s stated goals was to bankrupt the U.S. by drawing it into endless battles in the Middle East and south Asia. Unfortunately, even from beyond the grave he continues to successfully implement his policy. But should we really be helping him do so? If Saudi Arabia wants to pull back from its deep and unhealthy relationship with the U.S. we should welcome such a move. Then we might return to peace and commerce rather than sink under entangling alliances.

Overpaid DAV Execs Team Up to Censor Truth About Salaries

• Charity organization for vets pays some top brass more than U.S. president

• Veteran who exposed truth threatened with banishment from “non-profit”

By Dave Gahary

An exclusive story—completely ignored by the mainstream media—by this reporter in the July 1, 2013 edition of AMERICAN FREE PRESS, revealed the nation’s top disabled veteran charity is paying certain employees incomes rivaling, and in some cases exceeding, that of the president of the United States, who is paid $400,000 annually. This included Arthur Wilson, who retired in June. Wilson was making around $360,000 a year at the time he retired and earned other income from DAV-related schemes, pushing his income past that of the U.S. president. It was the article about Wilson that generated the controversy.

This in light of the fact that “nearly 200,000 veterans are homeless and hungry living on the streets of this once-great nation,” has shone a bright, ugly light on the self-serving aims of this particular charity.

In an update to this story, over four months later, this reporter received a “suspension” email on October 24, 2013 from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) National Commander, Joseph W. Johnston, which reads in part:

Dear Mr. Gahary:

This letter will notify you that I am temporarily suspending your membership…You are precluded from participation in any DAV activities during the course of your suspension.

Following our discovery of your affiliation of a recognized “hate group,” we undertook to examine your specific views. It is my judgment that you have publicly identified yourself as an advocate of positions that directly contradict the ideals and policies of DAV. For example, and without limitation, you have made statements that condemn religious (Jewish) and racial (African American) groups. I am convinced that it is not conducive to the best interests of DAV for you, an elected official and leader within the organization, to continue representing DAV. Many DAV members, as well as others we serve and the people who support our cause belong to the very groups targeted in your statements. Your public airing of your bigoted views is not acceptable to DAV. I frankly would be hard-pressed to explain to our members or supporters a rationale for permitting you to remain in your current status.

The National Executive Committee will convene in closed session [in February] to determine the status of your membership in our Organization.

The “hate group” the letter is referring to is the newspaper you are reading now, a term made popular by the neat, little “hate” rating system of the Southern Poverty Law Center, whose representative, Mark Potok, admitted to this reporter that “hate” is a subjective term, which of course should already be a widely-known-and-accepted fact. In effect, the nation’s largest disabled veteran charity has decided that news stories under-and-unreported by the elite media is “hate speech,” and should be shunned at all cost, as well as the journalists reporting these significant ignored facts.

It should be noted that, as a commander of a local DAV unit in New Jersey, this reporter has devoted many hours to servicing veterans’ organizations in the state and building up the membership of the chapter to levels that have resulted in the awarding of membership banners for the past several years, and has been reelected to the position of commander annually since 2010 by a membership that includes American blacks and Jews.

When a newspaper like AFP can influence the decisions of an entity as large as the DAV, you can rest assured we are doing what any newspaper should be doing: shaking the tree of power and calling these powers to the carpet.

No wonder AFP is referred to as America’s Last Real Newspaper.

Israeli Data Spies Have Eyes Focused on U.S. Citizens

• Tentacles of Israeli “security” firms stretch across U.S., globe

By Keith Johnson

While the National Security Agency (NSA) spying scandal continues to grab national headlines, the equally egregious intelligence gathering on United States citizens by Israeli security firms has virtually flown under the radar.

A recent article in Rolling Stone magazine, entitled “Meet the Private Companies Helping Cops Spy on Protesters,” comes close to scratching the surface by identifying the four major security contractors that have been aggressively hawking their invasive surveillance products at various trade shows and police conferences throughout the nation. However, they fail to mention that at least two of those companies are owned and operated by members of a foreign nation with a long and notorious history of spying on the U.S. government and its citizens.

Among them is NICE Systems, Ltd., an Israel-based company founded in 1986 by seven “Israeli ex-army colleagues.” NICE’s current CEO is Zeevi Bregman, who formerly helmed Comverse Technology, Inc., an Israeli-run private telecommunications firm that provides wiretapping equipment to U.S. law enforcement.

In 2001, Comverse was the subject of a Fox News investigation into Israeli spying, where it was alleged “that the wiretap computer programs made by Comverse have, in effect, a back door through which wiretaps themselves can be intercepted by unauthorized parties. Adding to the suspicions is the fact that in Israel, Comverse works closely with the Israeli government, and under special programs, gets reimbursed for up to 50% of its research and development costs.”

More recently, Comverse subsidiary Verint Systems, Inc. has been linked to the current NSA spy scandal. AMERICAN FREE PRESS has previously reported on how the company was hired by the feds to wiretap U.S. telecommunications networks and even offered back-door access to major U.S. technology companies like Facebook, Microsoft and Google.

Bregman now oversees NICE Systems projects that are just as intrusive. One product marketed to law enforcement is “NiceTrack Target 360°,” an intelligence gathering tool that collects and monitors the activities of persons targeted in surveillance operations. According to their brochure, “The solutions retrieve target location, relations and conversation content from any type of communication including telephony, IP and satellite, resulting in a multi-dimensional intelligence picture.”

Nice Systems also provides a suite of video surveillance products that monitors street activity 24/7 and alerts law enforcement of potential disruptions. In a promotional video for the “NICE Security Portfolio,” a group of protestors are depicted as posing a “security risk” by demonstrating in a city center. The fictitious activists are shown chanting slogans and hoisting signs that read “No More” and “Stop It Now” as the narrator explains how a variety of NICE Systems products can be used to help mitigate the “situation.” The narrator concludes by saying, “The entire event is then reconstructed on a chronological timeline, based on all multimedia sources,” to help “managers evaluate and understand trends and prepare for, predict and even prevent the next event.”

According to foreign trade portal Israel Gateway, NICE Systems products are already being used at the Statue of Liberty and the New Jersey Transit System.

A spokeswoman for NICE declined to provide Rolling Stone with specific clients, but said “Thousands of customers worldwide” use their products, including “law enforcement and other government agencies.”

A quick review of NICE’s website however, reveals some high-profile “leading customers” the Jewish firm has accumulated, including:

  • Air France
  • Beijing Metro
  • Bank of Tokyo
  • American Airlines
  • Dallas-Ft. Worth Int’l Airport
  • Mitsubishi UFJ
  • American Express
  • Eiffel Tower
  • India Parliament House
  • HSBC
  • T-Mobile
  • Miami-Dade Police Department
  • NJ Transit
  • New York Police Department
  • Port of Miami
  • Belgian Railways
  • UBS
  • Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport
  • Washington Mutual
  • Statue of Liberty

The other Israeli-owned security firm referenced in Rolling Stone is 3i-MIND, which is profiled in the below article. 3i-MIND’s founder and CEO is Israeli-born billionaire Mati Kochavi, who also owns AGT International, a security firm managed by a team of retired Israeli generals and Mossad agents, according to an article in Le Figaro.

Though AGT has only been in business since 2007, it has already secured $8B in contracts and has become a leading supplier of surveillance technologies to the governments of India, the Netherlands, Brazil, China, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and others.

In 2010, AGT entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft as an initial foray into the U.S. security market. According to a press release, the two companies plan to “provide government homeland security and corporate customers with complete solutions” in a shared “belief that the benefits of globalization for the world economy need to be accompanied by in-built sophisticated security technology.”

More recently, AGT’s Kochavi has ventured into the realm of journalism by launching a digital news website called Vocativ, which produces pro-Israel news content targeted at the young adult demographic. According to a recent article in Forbes magazine, Kochavi “has organized his newsroom along the lines of an intelligence agency in the belief that journalism needs to undergo the same transformation that’s already swept the field of spycraft.”

Although Kochavi wants his staff and clients to enjoy full-spectrum intelligence gathering capabilities, he doesn’t believe the general public should be afforded the same. In 2011, Kochavi and former President Bill Clinton appeared together in a CNBC interview to push for the creation of a regulatory agency that would prevent “misinformation and rumors” from being spread over the Internet.

“Why can’t we have a credibility bar near every resultive search,” Kochavi asked. “When we buy food we have ingredients on the food. When we go to see a movie we have ratings.”

It’s certain that if Kochavi had his way, real news organizations like AMERICAN FREE PRESS would be given a “zero” credibility rating.

Israeli security companies like AGT and NICE Systems can only survive if their sordid pasts are concealed from public scrutiny. And that’s precisely why AFP will continue to expose them at every opportunity.

Israeli Firm Peddling Technology to U.S. Cops to Spy on Dissenters

By Keith Johnson

• Former members of Israeli intelligence work to help crush free speech

A multinational security firm with ties to Israeli intelligence is providing U.S. law enforcement with intrusive surveillance tools to spy on American citizens and track the movements of political activists.

According to the above-mentioned Rolling Stone article, for-hire intelligence group 3i-MIND has been found peddling their highly advanced data-mining system at various security trade shows and police conferences throughout the nation.

The product, marketed to law enforcement as “OpenMIND,” scours the so-called “deep web”—that 80% of the Internet inaccessible to other search engines—for insights about upcoming demonstrations, identifies and collects information on political activists and monitors their activities in real-time.

“Your insight is distributed to the local police force warning them that the political rally may turn violent and potentially thwarting the violence before it occurs,” says promotional material for the product on the 3i-MIND website.

Very little is revealed about 3i-MIND in the Rolling Stone article. They don’t mention that its founder and CEO is Israeli-born billionaire Mati Kochavi, who made his fortune in real estate after serving as an intelligence operative for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

“Several years ago he became involved in the homeland security field, and this involvement increased after the September 11 attacks in 2001,” reads a 2008 article from Israeli newspaper Haaretz. “He forged contacts within Israel’s military establishment and began hiring high-ranking former officials in the field.”

Kochavi’s companies reportedly employ dozens of former IDF, Mossad and Shin Bet security service officials, including  Major General Amos Malka, who headed Israel’s Military Intelligence from 1998-2001.

This isn’t the first time an Israeli-linked company has been implicated in spying on American activists exercising their First Amendment rights. In 2010, public outcry forced the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to end a contract with the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response after it was discovered that the Jerusalem-based intelligence group used the Internet to spy on peaceful protestors and then generated misleading “terror bulletins” on their activities, which were in turn distributed to Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies.

If American citizens are upset that the federal government is eavesdropping on their communications, they should be more than outraged that proxies of an oppressive and untrustworthy foreign nation like Israel are helping their local police departments do the exact same thing.

Rothschild-Israeli Ties to JFK

• World’s richest banking dynasty had intimate tie to assassination conspirators

By Michael Collins Piper

Dozens of new books and reports from diverse sources purporting to bring out “the truth at last” about the John F. Kennedy assassination on its 50th anniversary are suspiciously ignoring the very real Rothschild connection to the JFK conspiracy.

Right now the big push is to pin blame for the assassination on former Vice President Lyndon Johnson. The “LBJ Killed JFK” theme is rampant, even in the self-styled “alternative” media.

However, AMERICAN FREE PRESS is pleased to be the first publication ever to report on the findings of Maurice Phillipps—an otherwise unheralded researcher —who uncovered the never-before-revealed Rothschild banking dynasty connection to a key player linked to the JFK conspiracy.

Here’s the story, one which should force JFK researchers—at least the honest ones—to take a whole new look at the death of the president.

Today, although the JFK assassination is the focus of a media frenzy, many writers avoid delving into (or even mentioning) New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison’s unsuccessful 1969 prosecution of trade executive Clay Shaw for involvement in the JFK conspiracy, knowing Garrison had turned up leads pointing in some uncomfortable and controversial directions.

In fact, when Garrison launched his investigation of Shaw he had unwittingly unearthed the “Rothschild connection” to the JFK conspiracy, although Garrison himself apparently didn’t realize it at first. This explains why there was such a concerted effort—coming from the highest levels—to derail and destroy the hard-driving prosecutor.

While many first heard of Garrison’s prosecution of Shaw through Oliver Stone’s film “JFK”—which presented the JFK conspiracy as the work of LBJ and the military brass, aided by rogue Central Intelligence Agency operatives—there was much more that Stone left out.

Below, AFP provides an annotated overview of the astounding revelations by Canadian writer Phillipps whose work has heretofore been suppressed. Although Phillipps’s book, De Dallas a Montreal, is available only in French, Phillipps has written in English of his research on his well-documented website.

Once you learn of what Phillipps has uncovered, you’ll understand why so many truth seekers are so determined to suppress his findings.

Rothschild-Israeli Ties to JFK

• Researcher has found the mother of all connections between Israel and the JFK assassination

Oliver Stone’s 1991 drama “JFK” focused on New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison’s 1969 prosecution of trade executive (and longtime CIA asset) Clay Shaw for involvement in the JFK assassination conspiracy. But Stone diverted attention away from Shaw’s link to a key figure in the global operations of the Rothschild banking dynasty.

While Stone referenced—in passing—Shaw’s membership on the board of a Rome-based corporate shell known as Permindex, subsidiary of another entity, the Centro Mondiale Commerciale, which Stone portrayed as a CIA front, he provided only a sliver of the much bigger picture.

Documents unearthed by Canadian author Maurice Phillipps demonstrate beyond question that Shaw’s associate on the board of Permindex (its chief executive officer and primary shareholder), Louis Bloomfield of Montreal, was a longtime attorney for the Rothschild dynasty, particularly for Baron Edmund de Rothschild of London, going back as far as World War II.

Having studied Bloomfield’s private files, which Bloomfield donated to the Canada National Archives, Phillipps found what he describes as “many documents” revealing the Rothschild connection which heretofore has remained unknown except to those who explored Phillipps’s website.

Today, AMERICAN FREE PRESS becomes the first publication to report Phillipps’s findings.

Although Bloomfield (who died in 1984) donated his papers to the archives contingent upon them being kept under wraps until 20 years after his death, Bloomfield’s widow sought to extend the restriction until 25 years after her death. This prompted Phillipps to file suit, the result of which was that in 2006 the Federal Court of Canada ordered the files released.

Documents indicate Bloomfield was so close to Rothschild that he (Bloomfield) incorporated (in Canada)—and was a shareholder of—Tri Continental Pipe Line Ltd. (described by Phillipps as “a major Rothschild company”) to which Israel granted a 49-year exclusive right on use of a 16-inch pipeline between the Red Sea and Haifa in Israel.

The Israeli connection is no surprise. The Rothschilds have been Israel’s foremost patrons. In addition, Bloomfield and Montreal liquor baron Sam Bronfman—the head of the World Jewish Congress, with whom Bloomfield was also closely associated—were among a clique of money kings who, in the 1950s, bankrolled Israel’s secret nuclear arms program. According to Israeli author Michael Karpin, Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion referred to those donors as “consecrators,” suggesting, as Karpin noted, “in Ben-Gurion’s eyes, the nuclear project was holy.”

While Phillipps has never suggested Bloomfield was involved in any way in the JFK assassination, he has pointed out that Bloomfield’s Rothschild connection has been otherwise ignored.

Phillipps’s findings on the Rothschild-Bloomfield link also put to rest the rumor that Permindex was proof of “Nazi” involvement in the JFK conspiracy, a patently ridiculous theme propounded by one Mae Brussell whose father, Rabbi Edgar Magnin, was spiritual leader of the Jewish movie moguls in Hollywood.

In this same realm, Phillipps has uncovered documents indicating that, in Bloomfield’s words, “the guiding genius” behind Permindex was Rome-based Giorgio Mantello—born George Mandel, a Romanian Jew—whom Bloomfield described as a “33rd degree Mason with the closest connections in the highest diplomatic circles.”

Mantello was clearly no Nazi. In 1989, then-United States Representative Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.)—a Jewish leader in Congress—introduced a bill to award a congressional gold medal to Mantello, describing him as “truly one of the great unsung heroes of the World War II era . . . one of the most outstanding examples we have of a single individual . . . mobilizing the world against the atrocities of Nazi Germany.”

Declaring Mantello “saved nearly 30,000 Jews from almost certain death in the Holocaust, and perhaps hundreds of thousands more,” Schumer hailed him as responsible for disclosing the “Auschwitz Protocol,” vaunted as the first publicized claim of mass murder of Jews at the Auschwitz labor camp in Poland.

(That the Auschwitz Protocol was a fraud has been proven by a host of historians whose writings are available from THE BARNES REVIEW.)

Schumer also said, “Mantello was extremely useful to both the American and British intelligence services . . . [having] slipped millions of dollars of Swiss technical instruments that were necessary for the war effort out of Axis-surrounded Switzerland and into Allied hands.”

How and why Clay Shaw of New Orleans ended up in association with the Permindex operation is no longer a mystery.

Shaw’s closest friends, who provided the funds for his defense against Garrison—the powerful Stern family, leaders of the New Orleans Jewish community—were primary shareholders in the Apollo, Pennsylvania-based NUMEC nuclear facility from which American nuclear materiel was illicitly channeled to Israel with the collaboration of CIA chief of counterintelligence, James Angleton, a devoted ally of Israel as head of the CIA’s Mossad desk.

Though avoiding the Mossad connection, many researchers now say Angleton was the key CIA figure in the JFK conspiracy.

The Sterns also owned WDSU radio and television, which hyped Lee Harvey Oswald as a “pro- Castro agitator” at precisely the time Shaw was acting as a handler for Oswald in the summer of 1963 while Oswald was in New Orleans being set up as the “patsy” in the JFK conspiracy.

So Shaw’s Rothschild—and Mossad—connection via Permindex was solidified by the Stern link to Israel’s nuclear weapons program we now know JFK was so determined to stop, another point ignored by most JFK writers.

All told, a variety of evidence indicates Permindex fronted for a Mossad operation funding Israel’s drive to assemble the atomic bomb.

A primary Permindex shareholder and the chief depository for its funds—the Banque De Credit Internationale [BCI] of Geneva—was the fiefdom of Tibor Rosenbaum, a Mossad arms procurement official referred to as one of Israel’s “founding fathers.”

BCI was also chief money launderer for the crime syndicate of Israeli loyalist Meyer Lansky, business partner of the aforementioned Sam Bronfman, associate of Louis Bloomfield and the Rothschilds.

In fact, Lansky’s Israeli biographers note that “after Israel became a state, almost 90% of its purchases of arms abroad was channeled through Rosenbaum’s bank. The financing of many of Israel’s most daring secret operations was carried out through the funds in [BCI].”

We now understand why Oliver Stone chose not to pursue these avenues when he made “JFK.”

The man who bankrolled Stone’s film, Israeli arms dealer Arnon Milchan—listed as “executive producer”—was a primary player in Israel’s nuclear program. Head of a global empire in weapons, chemicals, electronics, aerospace and plastics—operating in the Rothschild sphere—Milchan (now perhaps the biggest mover in Hollywood) has been described as “Mr. Israel,” as “secretive yet famous, but only among famous people,” and is a close friend and business partner of Rothschild-sponsored media baron Rupert Murdoch.

Although Milchan—partnered with the interconnecting Rothschild-controlled media conglomerates Havas and StudioCanal in financing Stone’s extravaganza—paid author Jim Marrs a reported $200K for rights to his book Crossfire (a partial foundation for Stone’s film), Jim Garrison’s family had to go to court to claim promised proceeds from “JFK” after Milchan claimed the blockbuster turned a loss. On a procedural technicality, a federal court ruled for Milchan against the Garrisons.

Well-known JFK writer, A.J. Weberman—a U.S.-Israeli dual citizen—says Garrison once showed him an unpublished novel Garrison had written which Weberman says was “a fictional work that placed the blame for John Kennedy’s death on the Mossad.”

Although Garrison did publish a JFK novel, The Star-Spangled Contract, it did not allude to Mossad involvement. But if Weberman is to be believed, Garrison had ultimately figured out the Rothschild-Israeli connection to the JFK conspiracy.

And that says much about what many of today’s JFK researchers are choosing to ignore.

Entrapment Approved by Appeals Court

Your hard-earned tax money being used by feds to set up citizens to commit crimes

By Keith Johnson

Federal law enforcement agencies will now find it much easier to frame gullible patsies for staged criminal acts thanks to a recent opinion by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

On October 23, a divided three judge panel in San Francisco upheld the drug conspiracy and weapons convictions of four men who were enticed, recruited and duped into participating in a government-scripted plot to rob a non-existent cocaine stash house in Phoenix , Arizona.

“Today our court gives our approval to the government tempting persons in the population at large currently engaged in innocent activity and leading them into the commission of a serious crime, which the government will then prosecute,” wrote sole dissenting Judge John T. Noonan, Jr.

The four men in question were arrested in 2009 as part of Operation Gideon, a “reverse sting” undercover operation set up by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Using a paid confidential informant, the ATF trolled seedy Phoenix-area bars in search of would-be robbers. They eventually found a man named Shavor Simpson, who was asked by the informant if he would be “interested in putting a crew together” to rob a house that possibly had “some dope in it.”

Hard Assets Alliance

After Simpson agreed to carry out the robbery, he was put in touch with an undercover ATF agent who, according to court documents, “proceeded to tell Simpson his cover story: He was a cocaine courier who transported drugs for a group of Mexican drug dealers and was unhappy with the pay he was receiving. He was interested in robbing the Mexican drug dealers as retribution for his low pay.”

Simpson originally intended to pull off the heist with only one accomplice but decided to recruit others after the agent warned that the two men might be outnumbered.

On the day of the planned robbery, a five man crew—armed with four loaded firearms—met with the ATF agent and followed him to a rented warehouse where they were arrested by federal agents. Four of the men were later convicted of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute and use of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. The former charge carries a mandatory sentence of ten years based on the quantity of fictitious cocaine the group hoped to steal.

Calling the ATF’s actions “disgraceful to the federal government,” Judge Noonan also argued that if U.S. “resources are deployed to fire the imaginations of dreamers of easy wealth and turn them to conspiring to commit a crime, our government has become the oppressor of its people.”

Unfortunately, the other two judges didn’t see it the same way. Though they acknowledged that the defendants were “responding to a government script,” the judges rejected the defense motion to dismiss because, in their opinion, “They were eager to commit the fictional stash house robbery, and they joined the conspiracy themselves without any great inducement or pressure from the government.”

Fictitious stings like these are more common than the public has been made aware. According to a recent USA Today investigation, “The ATF has more than quadrupled its use of such drug house operations since 2003…Yet the vast scale of that effort has so far remained unknown outside the U.S. Justice Department.”

Although USA Today identified more than 600 people prosecuted as a result of these controversial operations, they found that those targeted were already suspected of “ripping off drug dealers” by the ATF. What makes this most recent case unique, according to court documents, is that the “ATF was not infiltrating a suspected crew of home invasion robbers, or seducing persons known to have actually engaged in such criminal behavior. Rather, ATF found Simpson by ‘trolling for targets.’”

In ruling as they did, the Ninth Circuit has given law enforcement carte blanche to inspire and cultivate criminality in those who might not otherwise be inclined to commit unlawful acts. Anyone, regardless of their criminal history or lack thereof, could now become potential targets.

Impressionable youths are particularly vulnerable to this kind of entrapment. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation set up a bogus “jihad” website in hopes of luring wannabe “freedom fighters” into joining a Syrian terrorist organization. The romantic imagery and flowery language on the site managed to seduce one hapless Chicago-area teenager who was later arrested and charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

Similar operations will no doubt flourish in light of the recent appellate court opnion. Political activists and American patriots should be wary of any charismatic figure that incites violence or offers easy access to weaponry. There’s a high probability that such individuals are actually government operatives who are simply trolling for targets.

‘Amnesty Terrorists’ Use More Radical Tactics

• Advocates for illegal aliens, amnesty adopt more belligerent approach to promote agenda

By John Friend

In recent months, immigrants, both legal and illegal, and their supporters and advocates are taking a much “more radical approach to protesting the record number of deportations that that have occurred under the Obama administration, and the stalled efforts in Congress to work on an immigration reform bill,” according to a Fox News report.

In years past, immigration activists and organizations have pursued more traditional routes of influencing public policy, including holding rallies and marches, engaging in telephone, email, and letter writing campaigns, directly communicating with the public and congressional representatives and holding press conferences to influence public opinion.

A new generation of immigrants—many of whom are residing in the United States illegally or come from families who illegally entered the U.S.—and activists are fed up with the traditional approach, which they view as a failure.  Now, these groups and activists are taking a much more radical and direct approach to influencing public policy.

Marisa Franco, campaign organizer for the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, told Fox that this generation of immigrants and their proponents are frustrated with the old guard of immigrant rights advocates and are growing impatient. Ms. Franco vowed that this new generation “will take power back into their own hands and set a true example of leadership that the Beltway will have to follow.”

Hard Assets Alliance

This newspaper recently reported on a rally held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. attended by numerous illegal immigrants and prominent members of Congress. At the demonstration, attendees demanded amnesty and a pathway for U.S. citizenship for the millions of illegal aliens residing in the U.S. Activists have also chained themselves to buses carrying illegal aliens scheduled for deportation, harassed police and Border Patrol agents questioning or targeting illegals, demonstrated in front of Immigration and Customs Enforcement offices, and blocked the entrance to federal detention centers holding illegal aliens in recent weeks.

Millions of Americans oppose granting any form of amnesty or pathway to American citizenship to illegal aliens and are skeptical of the exceedingly generous immigration policies currently in place at a time when unemployment and underemployment are rapidly rising and show no signs of abating. Illegal immigrants regularly receive welfare and other social service benefits, which has placed a major burden on American taxpayers. Additionally, many citizens question what benefit Americans receive by allowing massive, uncontrolled immigration into their country, especially when most immigrants have few skills and little education, not to mention lack a basic comprehension of the English language and understanding of American political traditions.

Few realize that American immigration policy was radically altered with the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which has virtually destroyed the traditional ethnic make-up of the United States of America by ending the quota system and favoring non-European immigration.

“American immigration policy since 1965 has been awar on the traditional white majority—a war that is on the verge of being won,” says Dr. Kevin MacDonald, a professor of psychology at the California State University, Long Beach who has written extensively on American immigration policy and the forces behind it.

Dr. MacDonald sums up what “immigration reform” promoted by the political establishment and demanded by various immigrant rights groups and illegal aliens amounts to in America: “White American taxpayers are being asked to provide massive benefits for people of other races and ensure that they become a political minority in the bargain.”

Round Table Elite Meets

• Global plutocrats, fat cats, money-bags and magnates convene in Chicago

By Mark Anderson

The Business Round Table (BRT) is a plutocratic group that exerts its influence on critical United States issues such as raising the debt ceiling and keeping Obamacare alive. It is also a significant force for globalization. And as improbable as it may sound, the city of Chicago, where the BRT recently concluded a key economic summit, is fast becoming “globalism central” for the denizens of private governance.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership—which if approved would be the most expansive free-trade pact in human history—was a central topic at this BRT summit, tellingly called the “Frontiers of Economic Integration.” The main invitation-only confab was held October 30 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and hosted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs (CCGA).

Hard Assets Alliance

The CCGA, which has long been reconfiguring traditionally working-class Chicago into a global city, is the former Chicago Council on Foreign Relations, a cousin of the granddaddy tax-exempt think tank called the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) of New York. Since its formation in 1921, the CFR has championed the Federal Reserve System, foreign wars, free trade and the creation of the UN, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Its members and former members always turn up in key government, academic and media positions.

Interestingly, the proposed European Union-U.S. Free Trade Agreement—a suspected Bilderberg group topic last June in the UK—also turned up on the BRT’s Chicago agenda. This past spring, the very same trade pact was pushed at a Brookings Institution program covered by this newspaper. As if that isn’t enough, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen visited Chicago on September 30 to address the CCGA, recalling that when he was Denmark’s prime minister, he helped integrate the Danish people into the EU, which is increasingly becoming a debtor’s prison. As Rasmussen told the CCGA, he now wants to see a first-ever EU-U.S. free trade deal and a more global outlook for NATO than ever before.

Rasmussen also stressed the importance of the seemingly sacred “trans-Atlantic bond,” which, he said, means that the U.S. must reaffirm “its engagement in European security.

“You might call [this] economic partnership the ‘economic NATO,’” Rasmussen said, doing his part in telegraphing to other internationalists that  globalization’s leaders are reading off the same page.

Psy-Ops Standard Fare for U.S.

• CIA, Mossad have been dabbling in mind control for decades

• Secret U.S. documents reveal infatuation with “brainwashing”

By Michael Collins Piper

Recent articles in AMERICAN FREE PRESS about “mind control” have led some readers to dismiss the topic as a “conspiracy theory” bordering on science fiction. In fact, there are several carefully-documented books on the history of mind-control experimentation demonstrating that not only the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but also Israel’s Mossad and the Soviet KGB long engaged in extensive experimentation in this arena.

And don’t forget: In its simplest form, mind control is basically old-fashioned hypnosis. There are few who deny hypnotic states can be induced.

One of the earliest known “experts” in this bizarre science was George H. Estabrooks, chairman of the Department of Psychology at Colgate University, who worked for the War Department in World War II. In his book Hypnosis, Estabrooks described the importance of mind control for use in intelligence operations:

First, there is no danger of the agent selling out. More important would be the conviction of innocence which the man himself had. . . . He would never “act guilty” and if ever accused of seeking information would be quite honestly indignant. This conviction of innocence . . . is perhaps his greatest safeguard under questioning by authorities. Finally, it would be impossible to “third degree” him and so pick up the links of a chain.

Estabrooks said people under mind control could be encouraged to engage in “fifth column” activities: “Through them, we would hope to be kept informed of the activities of their ‘friends,’ this information, of course, being obtained in the trance state.”

During the 1950s the newly-established CIA, the Mossad and the KGB began heavy-duty research in this field. The CIA’s mind control project—initially code-named “Bluebird” and then “Artichoke”—eventually became MKUltra.

However, it wasn’t until 1975—in the midst of a controversial inquiry into the CIA conducted by then-Senator Frank Church (D-Idaho)—that the first details about the CIA’s mind-control ventures reached public attention.

Until then, Americans believed only “Communists” and “Nazis” engaged in unpleasant experiments to manipulate human behavior.

Hard Assets Alliance

In the wake of the Senate hearings, former State Department officer John D. Marks, co-author—with former high-ranking CIA official Victor Marchettiof The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence (the first book censored prior to publication by the CIA) undertook his own in-depth research into CIA mind control operations.

Utilizing the Freedom of Information Act, Marks pried 16,000 pages of documents out of the CIA and in 1979 published his book, The Search for the Manchurian Candidate, subtitled “The CIA and Mind Control: The Story of the Agency’s Secret Efforts to Control Human Behavior.” Issued by a subdivision of The New York Times and no “extremist tract” by any estimation, Marks’s book remains the standard on this subject.

Marks revealed that the impetus for the CIA’s mind-control operations came from Richard Helms, who later became CIA director. Helms’s idea was approved by then-CIA chief Allen Dulles. Under the supervision of James Angleton, the CIA’s chief of counterintelligence and devoted CIA liaison to Israel’s Mossad, chief of operations for the experiments was Sidney Gottlieb, the director of the CIA’s technical services section, TSS.

According to Marks, in June 1960 Gottlieb launched an expanded program of operational experiments in hypnosis in cooperation with the CIA’s counterintelligence [CI] staff who believed the hypnosis program could provide “a potential breakthrough in clandestine technology.”

The MKUltra staff focused on developing mind-control techniques in the laboratory while CIA operators handled “field experimentation” in order to achieve three goals, as described by Marks: “(1) to induce hypnosis very rapidly in unwitting subjects; (2) to create durable amnesia; and (3) to implant durable and operationally useful posthypnotic suggestions.”

Among the “additional avenues to the control of human behavior” Gottlieb found appropriate to investigate were “radiation, electro-shock, various fields of psychology, psychiatry, sociology and anthropology, graphology, harassment substances and paramilitary devices and materials.”

The New York Times reported on September 20, 1977 that, for over a decade, the CIA carried out tests in New York and San Francisco in which prostitutes —“perhaps men as well as women”—lured unsuspecting subjects to “safe houses” where they “were offered cocktails laced with various chemicals while unseen CIA officials observed, photographed and recorded their reactions.”

In 1975 the CIA admitted experiments were conducted at the Federal Addiction Research Center in Lexington, Kentucky involving the administration of hallucinogens to prisoner volunteers. A key figure at the Lexington operation was the base chaplain, Rabbi Maurice Davis, who later emerged as an operative of the Anti-Defamation League, an arm of Israel’s Mossad.

Considering all of this, it’s no surprise that mind control dabblers have been intensely interested in so-called “cults” that have existed in virtually every culture, in one form or another. That cult members—popularly said to be “brainwashed”—are pliable and do what their masters tell them, has made cults and their members special targets of the CIA and Mossad.

For years it’s been openly speculated that one of today’s best-known cults—the Unification Church —was actually created by the CIA, using CIA assets inside Korean intelligence.

There is solid evidence another well-known cult was taken over at its highest level by a clique of Jewish lawyers and that since then the cult’s vast worldwide financial (and membership) resources have been utilized on behalf of the Mossad agenda.

Generally from all walks of life—whether working inside banks, telephone companies, historical revisionist institutes, government agencies or fast food restaurants—cult members are thus available for deployment when higher-ups (operating under the direction of CIA or Mossad controllers) want to use them in some particular operation.

How many “lone gunmen” exploited by the media to promote gun control were actually subjected to mind control is a question that may never be answered, but the bottom line is this: Mind control is for real.

Rally at the Alamo for Gun Rights

• Police brutality against gun-carrying U.S. veteran spurs massive rally at icon of American freedom

By Mark Anderson

SAN ANTONIO, Texas—A pro-gun rally held at the historic Alamo by the new group Open Carry Texas (OCT) brought in to nearly 1,000 people October 19 in San Antonio—contradicting mainstream media claims that just 400 people attended. Under sunny skies, OCT attendees boldly wore their AR-15s and other long guns openly at this spirited rally, called “Come and Take It, San Antonio.”

Organizers did this to dramatize the fact that openly carrying a long gun is generally legal in Texas, and that police and citizens need to be reminded of it, especially in light of a San Antonio ordinance that bans a loaded rifle or shotgun of any kind, displayed or concealed, within city limits.

OCT members take strong exception with this local law and held the rally, in part, to challenge it. The rally’s success can be measured by the facts: There were no citations issued, no arrests and no ordinance violations, even though hundreds of people of all ages brought their AR-15s, shotguns and other rifles to town, wearing them openly. Some mothers had a rifle on their shoulder and a child in tow.

Although several demonstrators had loaded ammunition magazines with them, they complied with the ordinance by keeping live rounds out of the chambers of their long guns. Instead, they placed red drinking straws in the open chambers to highlight their effort to avoid any inadvertent firearm discharges.

OTC media spokeswoman Victoria Montgomery told this reporter that the mainstream media, however, neglected to mention that many pro-open-carry people not associated with OCT spontaneously joined the rally—including blacks, whites, Latinos, Democrats, Libertarians, Republicans, kids and parents, and general constitutionalists, of both genders.

This ably shattered the common stereotype that only white, conservative gun “fanatics” would hold such an event.

Ms. Montgomery also shared some Alamo history with the audience, reading from the famous battle letters of slain Alamo hero Lieutenant Colonel William B. Travis. The best way to remember the Alamo’s slain heroes is to celebrate Texans’ right to bear arms against potential tyranny, in the present day, she added.

San Antonio Police Department media spokesman Javier Salazar noted that the police department felt that OCT members and their followers policed themselves well. He also stressed that neither SWAT teams nor any other kind of special police units were needed.

OCT members said, however, that the welcome cooperation of police during the four-hour rally was marred by police snipers alleged to have been posted in windows above Alamo plaza. AFP asked the police to respond to this.

“Those were strictly CSI tools, [cameras] used to videotape the proceedings,” Salazar claimed, adding that all large gatherings are routinely videotaped by police, regardless of their subject matter.

PRO-GUN RIGHTS SOLDIER ARRESTED

While the “Come and Take it, San Antonio” long-gun rally October 19 was enjoyed by all without a hitch, the far-less-happy story behind the rally has been largely unreported: Open Carry Texas (OTC), which held the rally, was formed in June 2013 precisely because its founder, Army Master Sergeant Christopher “C.J.” Grisham, an active-duty soldier who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, on March 16 was aggressively arrested on flimsy gun-related charges in Temple, Texas.

Temple is about halfway between Austin and Waco, along Interstate 35. If anybody can handle a gun it’s Grisham, who was enjoying an outing with his 15-year-old son along a rural road, though within Temple’s outer city limits, on that sunny day. They were on a 10-mile hike for the son’s Eagle Scout requirements, the father told police.

Apparently, a passer-by called the Temple police on the non-emergency line, after seeing Grisham hiking while carrying his semiautomatic AR-15 military-style civilian rifle on his chest, attached to the straps of his backpack. He also packed a concealed 45-caliber pistol he’s licensed to carry, while walking along a ditch which rattlesnakes frequent. Wild hogs and pumas also have been spotted in the vicinity; hence the need for armed protection.

But when Temple Police Officer Steve Ermis responded to the call and approached Grisham to investigate, he, evidently without warning, tried to wrestle the AR-15 away from Grisham, who stands around 5’ 5” and weighs about 165 pounds.

Officer Ermis, however, is considerably bigger at about 6’ tall, and well over 200 pounds. And as the official police dashcam footage reportedly shows, the officer pressed Grisham onto the hood of his police cruiser and pointed his police pistol into the back of Grisham’s head, which he later withdrew.

Grisham, when pressured by Ermis to put his hands behind his back so he could be handcuffed, asked Ermis if he could first be allowed to hand his personal camcorder to his son. The officers at the scene, who arrived in three vehicles, reluctantly agreed. This enabled the son to film the latter part of the encounter.

In one verbal exchange heard on the son’s video, when C.J. complains to police, “You’re not exempt from the law,” one of the officers can actually be heard replying, “Yes, we are.”

Grisham—who protested the way in which the officers at the scene treated him, took strong exception with their outlook on the law, and stood up for his gun rights—cooperated, but without compromising his principles. Yet, he was arrested for “interfering with a police officer in the performance of his duties,” a Class B misdemeanor.

His son audibly cried as the arrest was made, according to the audio on their home video. But his father reassured him that everything would be fine, and one of the officers gave the boy a ride home.

Grisham’s trial ended October 18 in a mistrial. It was presided over by an allegedly biased Houston judge who was called out of retirement for the trial, while more objective judges were bypassed. According to witnesses, that visiting judge, Neal Richardson, referred to the defendant and his supporters as “local yokels” when speaking to the prosecutor in the courtroom.

Notably, the entire official police video of the arrest, though withheld from the general public and the press, was allowed in court. And Grisham’s fellow OCT members, including its media spokesperson, Victoria Montgomery, saw it.

“They put a media gag order on it,” Ms. Montgomery told this reporter, referring to the police video. Nevertheless, “The arresting officer lied on the stand”—without any apparent repercussions, as Ms. Montgomery sees it.

Given this episode, and because three OCT associates were arrested more recently near a San Antonio Starbucks for carrying their long guns, the above-noted OCT rally was organized to let San Antonio Police Chief William McManus know that his pledge to make “more arrests” of open-carriers, based on a city ordinance that forbids loaded long guns, was seen as contrary to Texas traditions.

As noted in an accompanying report below, the rally was successful and police exercised suitable respect for the participants and their rights. But the participants held the rally to prove their point about the ordinance, even while they continue supporting Grisham.

“We wanted to show McManus that you can’t make up the rules as you go along,” Ms. Montgomery said. “There’s been a huge spin put on this, like we’re a bunch of people just looking for attention—morons with guns.”

No rally permit was sought. “We don’t have to ask permission. It’s public property,” Ms. Montgomery told this newspaper, adding, however, that by about 2:30 p.m., the police corralled everyone to clear the area, even without a permit in hand to justify enforcing a particular conclusion time.

As for Grisham, his retrial in Bell County, Texas is tentatively set for November 18, in what prosecutors describe as the longest misdemeanor trial the county has ever had.

Restore the Fourth, a volunteer organization in cities and states across the country, is “a nationwide movement trying to reverse the encroachments and the absolute violations of our Fourth Amendment rights.”

In order to gain a fuller understanding of the organization, Dave Gahary sat down with Lorina Potter, the state representative for Restore The Fourth-Utah, who expounded upon their creative campaign to protest the attack on the Fourth Amendment by volunteering to clean up litter on a two-mile stretch of highway leading to the NSA’s Utah Data Center, in this informative interview (17:11).

Restoring the Fourth Amendment

Nationwide network of volunteers hopes to roll back U.S.’s surveillance state

While the National Security Agency (NSA) seems to be daily fodder for the mainstream media these days, American Free Press, America’s Last Real Newspaper, was apprising its readers of the coming storm years ago. In fact, as the 12th anniversary of the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001 was just “celebrated” on October 26, it has never been more vital to put AFP at the top of your reading list.

In AFP’s Issue 16 of 2012, Ralph Forbes of AFP’s Southern Bureau, penned an article entitled “CIA Super Spy Centers Near Completion,” where he revealed the construction of “a $2 billion heavily fortified center, more than five times larger than the U.S. Capitol, near remote Bluffdale, Utah.” The NSA spy center “requires its own 65-megawatt electrical power substation—the electric bill costs at least $40 million a year—and 60,000 tons of cooling equipment to keep its computer servers from overheating.”

The cooling system doesn’t seem to be doing the job, however. According to the Utah resident interviewed below, “they have had a lot of electrical trouble from what I understand, to the point that they’re creating essentially lighting boxes and melting the computer systems, destroying millions of dollars in computers and equipment.”

Ralph’s article explains exactly what the NSA is up to:

“NSA has turned its surveillance apparatus on the U.S. and its citizens. . . . It has established listening posts throughout the nation to collect and sift through billions of email messages and phone calls, whether they originate within the country or overseas. It has created a supercomputer of almost unimaginable speed to look for patterns and unscramble codes. Finally, the agency has begun building a place to store all the trillions of words and thoughts and whispers captured in its electronic net. . . . And, of course, it’s all being done in secret.”

While the vast majority of Americans have been relatively silent about the increasing invasion into nearly everyone’s lives on the planet, an organization has popped up this past spring to turn the tide against the United States Constitution, specifically the Fourth Amendment, which like the other nine Amendments that make up the Bill of Rights, is just one sentence. It reads:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Restore the Fourth, a volunteer organization in cities and states across the country, is “a nationwide movement trying to reverse the encroachments and the absolute violations of our Fourth Amendment rights.”

In order to gain a fuller understanding of the organization, this reporter conducted an exclusive interview with Lorina Potter, the state representative for Restore The Fourth-Utah, who expounded upon their creative campaign to protest the attack on the Fourth Amendment by volunteering to clean up litter on a two-mile stretch of highway leading to the NSA’s Utah Data Center, which is also known as the Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center.

Ms. Potter, who is from Utah, explained that “most of us here didn’t even know what was being built,” and that the locals who live nearby the center “are very wary of even speaking because they’re literally in their backyard.”

AFP asked how the organization began.

“We had our Fourth of July rally in which we tried to use a vacant lot across the street from the gates of the NSA data center,” Ms. Potter began.” “No sooner did we start setting up then they came and told us we had to leave. So after this event we got together and had kind of a roundtable where we were putting out ideas of how could we combat the barriers that we were being given and how could we do it legally, but doing it so that we could call attention as to what this building is.”

Several ideas were proposed, and Ms. Potter’s won the day. The anti-NSA group decided they would apply to the Adopt-a-Highway program run by the state in order to get close to the spy center, where volunteers will carry picket signs as they pick up litter.

“Each of us was delegated or we chose what we wanted to go forward with,” she explained. “This is the initiative that I wanted to move forward with.”

AFP asked how far away from the domestic spying center is the particular section that was adopted.

“It’s right there at the NSA data center gates,” she stated. “We will have two signs out there that have the state “Adopt-a-Highway” sign, and then underneath it it’ll say our name.”

AFP asked if they were required to buy that stretch of highway.

“No, it’s a voluntary effort,” she said. “When you adopt the road, it is by volunteer effort, so there are no charges or costs associated with it except for your time.”

According to an article in The Salt Lake Tribune newspaper, “the agreement [with the Utah Department of Transportation] calls for Restore The Fourth-Utah to pick up garbage at least three times a year.”

“Yes, that is correct,” Ms. Potter confirmed. “And obviously that’s a minimum, the minimum effort required, and I hope to be out there doing it a lot more often than that. We go to their local office to pick up the vests and the trash bags. And we go through safety training to make sure our people are kept safe.”

AFP asked if it was a remote stretch of highway.

“There is quite a bit of traffic there,” she began. “It’s a divided highway with about four lanes wide. It’s a major thoroughfare and runs parallel to I-15, which is the main highway that stretches north-to-south in Utah. And so it’s kind of like an alternative to that highway route, and so it actually does get quite a bit of traffic.

AFP asked how far away the spy center is from civilization.

“It’s in the middle of it,” she said. “Next door to it is some farmland and just about down the road is a subdivision. When you’re looking at it from the highway you can see all sorts of subdivisions, and it sits up on a hill, so it’s right in the middle of a city, right in the middle of housing.”

Although Restore The Fourth does not yet accept donations, Ms. Potter explained what the organization is in need of.

“We need more volunteers across the country to start local chapters. You can find your local chapters right there on the website.”

U.S. Supreme Court: Argentina Owes Banksters $7B

• Bizarre ruling by U.S. court over sovereign nation unenforceable

By Bill White

The United States Supreme Court reached a new level of hubris recently when it ordered the sovereign nation of Argentina to pay in full defaulted bonds bought by hedge funds, thus demonstrating the arrogance of the black-robed body as it attempts to govern the world through judicial legislation.

How the Court intends to enforce the ruling against Argentina, which is an independent nation not subject to U.S. law, is unclear to experts.

In 2001, Argentina defaulted on its debt after its government chose to continue to provide services for its people rather than continue to pay extortionate interest to international bankers. Argentina then restructured most of its $100 billion debt, paying out $9.3 billion in new debt in exchange for $93 billion of the old.

Two hedge funds, Aurelius Capital Management and Elliott Management Corporation, then bought the remaining $7 billion in debt for a few hundred million and went to court demanding that Argentina pay the debts in full.

The result has been a 12-year court battle in the District Court of New York, the U.S. Second Circuit and now the U.S. Supreme Court, with a series of rulings that U.S. law governs Argentina’s debt and that Argentina must treat all creditors “equally.” Ironically, this means that Argentina could satisfy U.S. law by defaulting “equally” on both its restructured as well as its unrestructured debt.

The ruling shows that the power in the U.S. and entities arising from the Bretton Woods system such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) act on behalf of private banking interests. Typically, when a nation like Argentina or Greece goes too deeply into debt, the IMF or other international entities such as the European Union step in and impose “austerity.” The goal of austerity is to make sure interest on the national debt is paid to international banks, while the nation’s people receive diminished services.

By pursuing Argentina in this manner, the international banking community is sending a message that they will always be paid and that any nation that chooses to default and buck the bankers’ power will be pursued by the bankers’ attack dog, American “law.”

But despite these efforts, the Supreme Court ruling is likely unenforceable. An effort to seize an unnamed Argentinian Navy training vessel in Ghana last year to pay the bonds ended up in failure after a United Nations tribunal ordered the ship released.

On November 1, the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York denied a motion to lift a stay it had issued in favor of Argentina pending Supreme Court review of a ruling for the holdout bondholders in August.
